As part of the United Way of the Wabash Valley’s annual Resource Drive fundraising effort, a drawing was held today at Terre Haute Chevrolet where three lucky donors had a chance to win big.

Three names were drawn at random from campaign incentive entries. Those three then got to try their luck at picking the box that contained the prize money. And the lucky winner was Katie Dilling from First Financial Bank.

Resource Development Director of the United Way of Wabash Valley Danielle Isbell said “This year there were over 15,000 entries from nearly 1,400 donors. While there is no real way to know what incentivized a donor to give, by tracking some key donor increases and retention, we estimate this $10,000 incentive brought over $95,000 in new funds to our United Way.”

Isbell added thanks to Terre Haute Chevrolet who partnered with the group and provided the cash prize for the campaign. “We’re proud of this long-time partnership and grateful that they continue to incentivize donors across the Wabash Valley to join the fight for our community.”
