All employees attend classes on the mission, vision, values, and philosophies of United Companies to assure an understanding of our culture.
United Companies’ Quality Education System (QES) training provides a foundation for all employees to participate in our organization’s ongoing Quality Improvement Program. The training covers quality principles and tools applicable to all jobs and teams as we strive for continuous improvement throughout our organization. All employees are required to complete at least 10 hours of training annually, at least 5 of which must be through the United Companies Training Department. Associates are able to receive credit for internally-conducted training. Classes are offered in various areas of emphasis including:
Management – Undergraduate Degree (50 total credit hours)
Administration and Customer Service – Undergraduate Degree (50 total credit hours)
*Classes may be added, dropped, or changed over the years. Enrollees in any class must meet the target audience prerequisites for that class.
