ROMAIN SUBARU WILL PRESENT DONATION CHECK TO BOYS & GIRLS CLUB IN HONOR OF 2020 SUBARU SHARE THE LOVE® EVENT

EVANSVILLE, IN, April 19, 2020 – As part of its ongoing support of local communities, Subaru of America, Inc. (“SOA”) and Romain Subaru will present a donation check to Boys & Girls Club of Evansville on Tuesday,  April 20 at 12Noon CDT in the Romain Subaru showroom. Boys & Girls Club was selected by Romain Subaru as their hometown charity choice for the 2020 Subaru Share the Love event.

From November 19, 2020 to January 4, 2021, customers who purchased or leased a new Subaru vehicle could select from a list of charities to receive a donation of $250 from SOA. For the third year in a row, there was no cap on the total donation from Subaru of America to its Share the Love charitable partners. At the culmination of this year, SOA and its retailers hope to exceed a grand total of $140 million donated since the creation of Share the Love to celebrate the thirteenth anniversary of the event.

For 2020, SOA selected the four national charities: ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals On Wheels America® and National Park Foundation, while Subaru retailers could also elect to add a hometown charity to help support their community. Romain Subaru selected Boys & Girls Club of Evansville as it’s hometown charity.

The check will be presented to Ron Ryan, Executive Director, and Shanna Groeninger, Resource Development Director, of Boys & Girls Club by Ron Romain, CEO of United Companies and Michael Mintline, General Manager of Romain Automotive Group.
